Our last home games are May 18th – 2 Varsity Games and Senior Night and Saturday -2 JV games. It has been a great season, with lots of skill improvement and a very supportive team environment. Please come cheer us on as we get ready for the Region Tournament and then plan to move on to State. It will be a crazy, end of the season and year rush. Thanks to all our fans, sponsors, parents for the energy you give us.
Final Lap
Moving into the last week of the season with a 5-0 Conference record. League Games with Soldotna and Houston (x2). Next week to Kodiak for Region Tournament. Congratulations to Kaitlyn J. for being on the All Tournament Team at the ANchorage Blue-Gold Tournament. Come support the team.
Conference Begins
JV and varsity finally got Conference going with wins over Soldotna- JV 20-12 and Varsity 20-8 on a blowy, cold day. On to Kodiak for this weekend. Please support us on Gamechanger and Texting and don’t forget to buy more raffle tickets as money is flying out the door. Kodiak flight leaves at 11:30 Friday. Players will be bused from School at 10. Please include food money and $25 for transportation.
Season Starts
The conference season started with a bang, or rather, a rainstorm and wind tunnel as our Varsity game in Kenai was postponed for weather. We did start the raffle drawing with ticket 133 claiming the first $100. Never too late to buy your ticket- help the team and help yourself.
Kodiak Weekend
A great weekend with a group that plays hard, gets along together and does not whine. Sleeping in the airport, dealing with rain and wind, Steeplechase puddles on the infield, cobwebs getting swept away. So much fun, so much we learned. And a beautiful clear sunrise as we were leaving…Bodes well for the rest of the season
It’s April
We have moved to the field in all its glory. This will be the earliest we have ever started season games with our upcoming pre-season trip to Kodiak for about 14 players. Then a headlong dash into the season with Kenai away and the Anchorage schools here. Will need to have a busy work part for the fields, concessions, etc so watch your emails. Really enjoying this group of players.

Kodiak Tournament
Despite the confusion of Prom change and dates of the Tournament, we have received lots of support from the team and will be taking a group to Kodiak for their preseason tournament with East, Service, Lathrop, Monroe, Wasilla and North Pole. Anticipate Departure on Wednesday Evening , April 11th at 8pm and return at 1 pm On Saturday the 14th ( in time for Prom ). This is a group that wants to play ball……

Softball Parent Meeting will be at the HHS Library, Thursday March 22nd, 7pm. Discussion of finances, fund raising, volunteer needs, planning and all you can do to help make this a successful season for your daughters.
