Parent Meeting 4/2/25
Meeting held in dome with attendance from many parents. Presented philosophy of team and need for extra Volunteer Support without a Formal Assistant Coach. Introduced several of the volunteer coaches to Parents.
Survey taken of Parents as to what they most want from a HS Coach of Female Athletes- Teamwork/Sportsmanship Teaching, Positive Role Model, Kindness, Boosting Player Confidence, Clear Communication, Consistency, Positiveness, Fairness.
What Did Parents want Players to have learned by end of season -enthusiasm, Patience, Confidence in trying something new, Teamwork, Responsibility, Confidence, New Skills, and better push up Form.
Discussed Volunteer needs, – Scorers, field work, Bash on the Bay, Travel help, Chaperone, Scoreboard Operators, Field Building, Fund Raising. Etta Toci is arranging Raffle Sales at local venues. Marisela Sanchez-Ramos has volunteered to be parental Organizer and Intermediary. Still looking for a Booster Club Representative for next year.
Financially, discussed the Budget of being around $25K and need for Raffle Sales that brings in about $7K. Player Fees ( and waiver) discussed
For Players – discussed how we are monitoring effort and attendance at Practice as a measure of commitment, Discussed how that will impact playing and also how players will be distributed between JV and Varsity and that it will be fluid through the season.
Discussed Schedule and decided that Communication would be through Remind as WhatsApp leads to too many irrelevant postings. Also discussed website, Facebook and Instagram as sources of non-critical information. Discussed GameChanger, Max preps and the website for schedule.

7 parental groups present. Discussion centered around needs of the coach and team- new Booster Club member from Softball- graciously accepted by Christy Tuomi.
Parental Coordinator for bash on the Bay- very graciously accepted by Michelle Voland. – discussed needs for BOTB and also the expected field work day on Sunday 5/4/25
