There will be a PreSeason meeting for Parents and Players to talk about the upcoming season on February 13, HHS Library 6pm. We will go over the season, introduce coaches and volunteers, outline jobs we need help with, discuss expectations, answer questions, etc. This will be a new experience for us to have an early Parent meeting but we are hoping to get more support and involvement. We would ask the players to download the 2019 information sheet from the “Team Information” page. We will discuss field maintenance, umpiring, travel, fundraising and anything else that comes to mind. You may call us ahead of time for questions
Best Seat in the House
Starting Classes to train paid umpires for the High School Season. You can learn a new skill or brush up old techniques. Will start on Monday, February 18th and run at least three Mondays, 6:30pm-8pm. Plan on Field work in April, once the fields are better and then start the season April 23rd. Previous baseball / softball experience is helpful but not necessary. Call Bill at Three nine nine one zero four two.
The Season is about to Start
February 27th is the first official day of practice. I am anticipating we will be in the SPARC that day and weekly for a month, in addition to the daily practices at the High School I would like to have a pre-Season parent and Player meeting in mid February. Please have your physicals and consents ready for the first day. Still time to joins us at the dome on Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday to get an early jump.
